WORSHIP LEADING
Grow in confidence as a worship leader. A holistic and highly immersive program that empowers you to thrive in your priestly calling and lead with authority and confidence as a worship leader serving in your local church. SONGWRITING
Be mentored in your songwriting calling & craft. Beginning with seeking revelation, you will build upon initial song concepts and ideas, master lyrical and melodic devices, and finally, refine and deliver a song that will bless & minister to others. You can expect an environment of freedom and creativity where you will be challenged beyond your boundaries as worship songwriters.

Some key topics include:

  • Writing Good Lyrics

  • Melody & Crafting Song Hooks

  • Workshopping

  • Song Arrangement

  • Activating the Prophetic Song

LEADERSHIP
Be mentored to your leadership potential. The AG Leadership Stream is a values-based practicum that builds upon key kingdom culture values to empower leaders to build healthy relational, missional, and Presence-oriented communities. The course is highly recommended for believers looking to grow in their leadership skills in varying capacities, be it in ministry or the marketplace.

Some key topics include:

  • The Centrality of Worship 

  • Serving from Sonship 

  • Building Healthy Relationships & Community 

  • Healthy Confrontation & Conflict Management 

  • Leading from Authenticity

STUDENT SCHEDULE

CONVERGENCES
Students across different streams, online and onsite, come together for worship, teaching, ministry, and character-building on the first Monday of every month of the semester. Online students will be connected via Zoom.

WEEKLY LESSONS
For the remaining weeks of the month, international students will join in live classes held once a week at 7.30pm SGT via zoom. Typically on Monday (Songwriting) or Tuesday (Worship Leading) nights, class durations range from 1.5 – 2.5 hours.

GROUP MENTORING
Safe space where your questions about worship, life and ministry can be shared with your mentors and classmates in a small group.

 

ELECTIVES
Over the course of the semester on selected Wednesday nights, students have the opportunity to participate in optional electives to expand their learning. These cover topics that are essential for worship ministries, such as Worship Leading, Vocal Harmony, Sound Basics, Band Dynamics and others.

REVIVAL NIGHTS
Awaken Generation also hosts monthly Revival Nights that take place on the last Wednesday of each month where students get an opportunity to simply soak and receive in a worship environment.

SONGS OF THE NATIONS
The week before Graduation, our online school students are invited to join us in Singapore for a worship and songwriting gathering in Singapore focused on fellowship, equipping and encounters with God. Hear from speakers around the world. This will culminate in Graduation in November.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

We believe in the importance of time and process in our students’ growth. As such, the AG programme runs for 8 months, over two semesters.

Terms & Conditions

* Prices only applicable for annual payment. For semester or monthly instalment, there will be a 3%/semester or 5%/month admin surcharge respectively.
* All prices quoted above are nett in SGD.
* Payment will only need to be made upon acceptance into the programme.
* A non-refundable $80 admin fee is required upon first payment.
* A Graduation fee of $25 will be payable at the start of semester 2.
* For late applications, an additional $80 will be billed to student.

 


FEES & FINANCIAL AID

The AG programme runs for 8 months (2 semesters) in total. Each month, AG students will receive skill-based training in their weekly classes, enjoying up to 13 hours of training in the following areas:

  • Spiritual development in Convergences 

  • Skill-based training in their weekly classes

  • Ministry training in electives

  • Group Mentoring

That's 52 hours of intentional training per semester!

FINANCIAL AID

However, students who face financial difficulties in meeting the required fees for the AG school programme may consider applying for financial assistance. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

For our internationally-based applicants applying for our online Worship School

  • You will be required to provide proof and documentation of your financial need, including a write-up of your financial situation

  • Priority will be given to students living in developing countries in Asia
